Carolina College of Cosmetology was opened in May of 1978 by Jacqueline Browder. Jimmy Hardee, graduate and longtime employee of the college, purchased the school in September 2010.
Carolina College of Cosmetology is a Proprietary Educational Institute offering a Cosmetology program to prospective students possessing at least a tenth (10th) grade education that can be verified and meets State Board requirements.
Admissions Information:
New classes begin the first Tuesday of each month. Please call Jimmy Hardee at 843-248-3027 to get more information, or to set an appointment to discuss your enrollment plans.

The school is open as follows:
Tuesday – Friday 9:00 – 5:00*
Saturday 9:00 – 2:00
* Theory classes are generally held Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00, and the clinic floor is open 11:00 – 5:00.
Carolina College of Cosmetology is a member of the South Carolina Association of Cosmetology Schools, Inc. (SCACS). In addition to Cosmetology classes, Carolina College of Cosmetology also offers Six(6) hour Continuing Education classes for licensed professionals, as well as Three(3) hour Disciplinary classes for those that have been cited for violations by LLR.
